Over the past 25 years in the high-tech music industry Paul has created relationships with many of the top music equipment and recording magazines and websites in the industry including Mix/Pro Sound News Magazine, (and previously Electronic Musician), Sound on Sound, MusicRadar, Synthtopia, TapeOp, SonicState, SoundLightup, FOH, to name only a few.
Recording and performance project stories, new product announcements and product reviews, videos, and artist and company feature stories are key elements in his PR activities.
Although focused in the music production side of the product industry for software and hardware for composers and recording and mastering engineers, in the past few years Paul has connected with the Hi-Fi Audiophile industry through the Tape Project, the award-winning line of new products from CEntrance, and with the Amadeus ‘Philharmonia’ speakers, in the US, Europe and Asian markets; Amadeus is a leading speaker designer and manufacturer based in Paris who serves the installed and live sound markets. Amadeus’ sister company HOLOPHONIX offers a deep immersive sound with a 3D sound solution of hardware and software for the performing arts.
With Spectrasonics, Paul helped elevate the company’s presence with many types of projects from dozens of reviews, to the series of Trilian virtual bass instrument videos which are a wonderful success for the company featuring a wide range of artists utilizing the product on camera. In 2012 the company won several prestigious awards for their Omnisphere synthesizer software including the TEC Award, German KEYS Magazine reader’s poll and Electronic Musician’s Editor Choice Award for ‘Virtual Instrument of the Year.’ And the artist community support for Spectrasonics’ Bob Moog Tribute Library was tremendous and has really helped the Bob Moog Foundation, — 100% of the proceeds from the library are a donation to the foundation.
Paul helped Dangerous Music continue with its long history of close connections to engineers and producers who use their products, over the past few years many have been nominated and won Grammy™ Awards for their work. Paul helped various clients with press relations, making sure their presence and successes are well known in the audio community.
At Focal Paul has worked to create the Artist section of the Focal Naim America “Focal Pro” website, and designed the “Mixed on Focal” artist program for high-resolution playlists, both Pro and HiFi, recently adding Immersive playlists.
