Amadeus Releases ML 28 Sub

Uniquely designed, powerful new subwoofer with dual 18-inch speakers now available in European and Asian markets

Amadeus, based in France, one of the premiere manufacturers of high-end sound reinforcement systems, has announced that their highly-anticipated ML 28 subwoofer is now shipping and available through dealers in Europe and Asia. The ML 28 subwoofer was premiered at the 2013 Musikmesse Prolight + Sound Frankfurt Expo. The new subwoofer, fitted with dual 18-inch speakers, combines a set of unique acoustical properties with high-timbral precision and extraordinary power handling capability. The ML 28 system is designed for use with conventional loudspeakers as well as line array systems manufactured by Amadeus, including the company’s PMX, UDX and DIVA Series, and includes standard presets that are compatible with all well-known digital crossovers. Pricing on the new ML 28 subwoofer for Europe is € 3999.00 (VAT excluded).

64-bit Omnisphere, Trilian and Stylus RMX Virtual Instruments Updated to ‘AAX’ plug-in platform for Pro Tools 11 Compatibility

Spectrasonics today released an ‘AAX Public Beta’ version of the company’s three popular virtual instruments Omnisphere, Trilian and Stylus RMX for Avid’s new Pro Tools(tm) 11. Registered users of the Spectrasonics instruments can log into their user accounts to download the Public Beta versions. The new versions are available at no charge to registered users to test with the new 64-bit version of Pro Tools. Omnisphere, Trilian and Stylus RMX are all native 64-bit software instruments designed to work with Pro Tools 11 on both OS X and Windows.

Matching the pristine analog sound of Studios de la Chine’s wrap-around 72-fader ‘SSL 9072 J’ console are the soffit-mounted speaker mains custom designed by Amadeus. While Amadeus is highly regarded as a leading manufacturer of live and installed sound equipment, the company also boasts a top team of designers that work with large commercial studios to offer them custom speaker designs for each specific control room space.
